LCD stands for Liquid-Crystal Display. Liquid-crystal display is a flat panel display which uses liquid crystals in its main form of operation. LCD consists of liquid display crystals that display video on a screen. LCD screens are commonly used for the manufacturing of smartphones, computers, televisions, and instrument panels. Tablets and laptops also use LCD screen.
5. OLED Screen
There are two types of screens used in mobile phones and tablets. They include an LCD screen and an OLED screen. OLED screens are widely used in the manufacturing of mobile phones. OLED screens work faster and better than the LCD screens. OLED colors do not get washed out. They remain super clean and accurate when viewers watch the screen from varied angles. So, OLED screen offer better resolution than LCD screens.
